Tommy is from the incredible first litter from Ch Coso's Utopia of Parnassus, (Canada's 2005 #1 Bitch) and Int'l & Can Ch Amandlas Pride of the Island. We loved the quality of this all boy litter so much, naturally they needed famous designer names.

Tommy is a special pup and one visitors were always drawn to. This beautiful boy has the grace of his Kwetu heritage and the attitude of a class prankster but with a natural gentleness with young pups, quite unusual of a young Ridgeback. Tommy lives with his family, Jeff and Danielle of Jahina Ridgebacks in Manitoba. Tommy was also blessed to have brother Radek and sister Thembi welcome Tommy into their pack with open paws. Tommy participates in activities such as agility, obedience, Rally, and Conformation. In Sept 2009 Tommy received his Herding Instinct Certificate(HIC)

Tommy looks toward completing his US Championship (Major pointed already) and just received his last leg of his Rally Excellence in the obedience ring. Tommy and his team are unlimited when it comes to versatility!!!

Tommy has entered the show world and finished quite easily, with a Best Puppy In Group and multiple Group Placements to his credit. At the Us Nationals, Tommy went 2nd in a very large and competetive Open Dog class. His incredible structure and effortless movement can not be denied by any judge but because of his correct moderate size and beautiful lighter "caramel" coloured wheaten coat he may sometimes be overshadowed by the bigger red dogs. Knowledgeable judges and successful ridgeback breeders, those understanding the breed's purpose, will recognize and reward his quality.
