Hard to believe Juma is now almost 11 years old. Each day we are grateful for his company and for all that Juma has given us. We love his kind heart and his rock solid nature. As a faithful companion and wonderful family protector J-Bear is everything a ridgeback should be... plus an inch and a half!

Over the years Juma has enjoyed an array of activities such as obedience, lure-coursing, conformation and even agility. J-bear earned his Canadian and International Championships with ease and while only shown sparingly he has always maintained a love for the show ring even as a veteran! Even today we are still asked about this handsome boy. It is still a pleasure to watch his beautiful stride and gorgeous side gait but he'd rather show off his speed chasing bunnies! We are proud of our boy and his generations of offspring. Juma kids have gone on to kennels such as Ashanti Ridgebacks in BC, Parnassus Ridgebacks in California and Jahina Ridgebacks in Manitoba Canada. Juma has gorgeous get from all of his litters, many of which have earned titles on both ends of their names!
