Calvin is also from the incredible first litter from Ch Coso's Utopia of Parnassus, (Canada's 2005 #1 Bitch) and Int'l & Can Ch Amandlas Pride of the Island. We loved the quality of this all boy litter so much, naturally they needed famous designer names.
Calvin was always always very special. He is a phenominal example of the breed, beautiful proportions, angles, type and has one of the most beautiful gaits you have ever seen (if he's not jumping all over his dad!) Besides his good looks, he was also the love dog that was so affectionate and far more playful then any other that we have had the pleasure of living with. He has a great fondness of children and will pull you towards a school or sportsfield just to go and get the attention he deserves. Calvin had a large fan club consisting of everyone he met, especially his immediate pack. There were many upset Canadians when Calvin went to the states to live.
Calvin lives with his dad, Dr. Robert Russell of Parnassus Ridgebacks , and I'm sure he keeps him on his toes with his sense of humour and youthfull pranks. Calvin became a US Champion in the toughest US State in a relatively short time frame. Watch fo Calvin in the US Specials Ring!
