Obi lives in Mexico with his parents - co-owners and co-breeders Doug and Brenda, his mother Asha, and RR "sister" Jeema. This Juma grandson has a rock solid temperament and has never had to worry about anything. He is a happy, laidback, easygoing ridgeback with a curious nature. His sociable personality with children makes him a very nice companion as a pet therapy dog.

Right from the first day walking you could see something special in this boy. Obi is developing into an exceptional and competitive dog giving others a run for their money. As his pleasing gait is maturing the premonition of greatness is exceeding all expectations. His incredible angles, bone and head piece exude the type desired by many, when they think ridgeback. His long body, and effortless gait exemplify the breed standard, he could easily fulfill his breeds purpose. Obi is the one that has both RR breeders and other breeders asking "Who is this boy?"

Obi's show career has started with a bang in the US with two highly regarded placements at the Nationals and Canada where he recently won 4 Pup Hound Groups in 5 days! Most Recently, Obi Had a Group 3rd under Breeder Judge Janet Buchanan to finish his Championship....... Obi makes us all proud. Look for Obi in the US, Canada, and Mexico 2008-2009.
