When researching contenders for our breeding program FORM and FUNCTION is at the top of our list right along with correct temperament, health and longevity. Health, temperament and type are words that you’ll hear a lot around here and are a priority for Coso. Our breeding program strives to produce true representatives of the breed while preserving the breed’s integrity. Our goal is moderate, versatile, sound, loving family companions true to original personality with the ability to work, compete/perform and, if desired, be presented in conformation. Our ridgebacks are intelligent, versatile and have the ability to excel in a multitude of areas. We are always ready to take on whatever else catches the dog's interest and ours!
